June 22, 2018

MMLG’s Dr Juli Crockett and Aaron Lachant to Co-host Lecture on 6/27/2018

If you’re in the commercial cannabis biz in California, you surely are aware of July 1st and the transitional window closing. On top of that, the state implemented new emergency regulations a few weeks back. Between July 1st  deadline, the new regulations, and illegal operations booming, we get it: you’re likely a little confused (and maybe a little frustrated) about what it all means for your company.

Good thing we’re the chatty type. MMLG invites you to join our Director of Compliance, Dr. Juli Crockett, and co-founder, Aaron Lachant,  on Wednesday, June 27th, at Nelson Hardiman’s office to discuss the complex and ever-evolving industry landscape. Topics will include:

  • Highlights from Emergency Regulations Readoption for all agencies (BCC, CDFA, CDPH)
  • End of the Transitional Period – What changes on July 1st?
  • Full regulatory language timeline – Get ready to comment!
  • Extending your temporary license
  • Legislative Overview – Significant Bills at the state level?
  • Local Update for Los Angeles: Signage Ordinance, Phase Two Applications
  • Q&A Session

The event will be held at the seminar room at Nelson Hardiman, LLP, located at 11835 W. Olympic Blvd., Suite 900.   The seminar is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30. Space is limited so please RSVP.
