Our friends over at Future Cannabis Project are hosting a fundraiser this Friday, 2/15, for the survivors of the Woolsey Fire. As you know, the Woolsey Fire was one of the most devastating wildfires in California history, which is a line we’ve all become far too accustomed to reading and acknowledging on a yearly basis. But Woolsey hit even closer to home for many of us in the plant-touching industry and that’s why Future Cannabis Project has asked us to participate and why you should attend.
It’s going to be a tremendous day of healing, education, and more. Doors open at noon and events are planned all day and well into the night. Yoga classes, massage therapy, musical performances, a chef’s dinner, more music, a DJ set, dancing, and all in the name of a good cause, with all proceeds going directly to the Malibu Foundation. Below follows a full agenda (Note: our own Juli Crockett is speaking on the CA Cannabis Regulations panel, natch!)
AFTERNOON
Doors open at 12pm for general admission ticket holders. The day kicks off with cannabis industry panel discussions. The health and wellness track, organized by CHAKRAS, will feature yoga classes, sound healing and massage therapy.
